Understanding the stages of work at Alvesco Construction
Every house is unique, as is every project. At first contact, our focus is to understand the customer’s needs and desires. That is why we define every step of the process in detail, whether for refurbishment, expansion, or construction.
We separate all projects into six phases, which we communicate with the client from start to finish. Below is a brief summary of each stage, which illustrates the importance of having access to your project schedule:
●First phase: phone call with the customer to determine the scope of work, and to see if we are a good fit for the project;
●Second phase: once we understand the customer’s needs, we make an appointment to see the space in person so we can prepare a free estimate;
●Third stage: we send the estimate and, if it is accepted, we provide our contract to be reviewed and signed. At this stage, we receive an initial installment to cover permits issued by city hall, which are required before work can begin;
●Fourth stage: Once the required permits are approved by city hall, we determine the date when the project will start. Approval may take place in one to three weeks;
●Fifth stage: Once the Permit is approved, we will schedule the beginning of the work, usually within 2 weeks. This stage is the construction stage.

●Sixth stage: after all rough inspections are completed by city hall, we finish the work. Then there is one final inspection to ensure proper completion of the project.
In general, each project receives three different inspections. It is important to understand that all inspections are carried out by the city to ensure the quality and completion of the work when the final results are delivered to the customer.
At Alvesco Construction we follow all city and town requirements. We prepare the contract and contract insurance, such as Liability and Workers’ Compensation, which guarantees the security of the customer’s property and the safety of our workers.
